Don't miss Monteverdi's operatic  masterpiece, Orfeo, performed on period instruments with modern staging including brilliant costumes and unusual lighting effects by internationally renowned stage director Chen Shi-Zheng.  An acclaimed cast and a troupe of Indonesian dancers join the Handel and Haydn Chorus and Orchestra for this emotional story of Orfeo, who uses his formidable musical powers to rescue his beloved Euridice from the depths of hell.
