One of Dylan Thomas’ most popular pieces, “A
Child’s Christmas in Wales” is a vivid reminiscence
of Christmases past that was originally created for radio,
then later revised as a prose work. It was first published
in 1955, two years after Thomas’ death. Grant Llewellyn,
a fellow-Welshman, will read from this wonderful text, which
will accompany a selection of Christmas works from the American
choral tradition.
