Chen Shi-Zheng returns to direct a new, fully staged production of Purcell's powerful and ultimately tragic love story, Dido and Aeneas. Inventive videography and lighting create stunning special effects, including a frightening storm and a blazing fire in the final scene.

Following the concert, director Chen Shi-Zheng and conductor Grant Llewellyn will answer questions from the audience concerning the production.
