

Elaine Allard is a graduate of Swarthmore College (English Literature/Latin American Studies major.) Elaine is currently in her fourth year of a Ph.D. Program in educational linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) and has studied voice with Suzanne DuPlantis for two years. She has been singing as a member and soloist with the University of Pennsylvania Choir since 2004. In 2006-07, Elaine sang as a scholarship recipient with the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia; she has also been the Alto Soloist at Old St. Joseph's Catholic Church since 2006. She is engaged and met her baritone fiancé in the choir. She is a graduate of Brockton High School and took private voice, masterclasses, and vocal chamber music at N.E. Conservatory with VAP.
