Young American soprano Heather Buck has come to international attention for her sparkling coloratura and her incisive musicianship. Recent engagements include Barcelona ’s Gran Teatre Del Liceu in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos, the 2001 Spoleto Festival USA in Dido and Aeneas, Opera Birmingham, Opera Delaware, and several appearances with New York City Opera. Although these performances mark her debut with the Handel and Haydn Society, she has frequently sung with Music Director Grant Llewellyn at such venues as the Pacific Symphony, the Opera Company of St. Louis, and the Spoleto Festival.

Heather Buck appears in Handel's Messiah on December 4, 5, 10, and 11, 2004.
