Acclaimed soprano Awet Andemicael is equally comfortable on the operatic stage and the concert and recital platform. A Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, she has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, Lyric Opera San Diego, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera, and the Opera Company of Brooklyn. She has appeared in recital and concert throughout the United States and Europe and has recorded with the Harvard University Choir and the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra. These performances mark Ms. Andemicael's debut with the Handel and Haydn Society.

Awet Andemicael appears in Handel's Messiah, November 27-December 4, 2005.
