Join the Vocal Arts Program

We would love to welcome you into the VAP community of singers!

2018–19 Auditions

All students interested in joining a VAP chorus have an individual audition with their intended ensemble conductor. In your audition, you will be asked to sing the first verse of “America” (My Country, ‘Tis of Thee) and will be guided through vocal exercises to demonstrate your musicianship.

Your acceptance into a VAP ensemble is based on your maturity, age, musicianship, and schedule availability. VAP ensembles are comprised of students age 8-18. No prior musical training is required and there is no cost to audition. Applicants are notified of the results of their audition within two weeks.
