  • Information About You

The Handel and Haydn Society High School Soloists Program strives to be an accessible and inclusive program to all students. This section provides H+H with information about you that will help us meet that important goal. Your responses to these questions help us plan recruitment strategies to maintain a diverse student population, plan your overall artistic experience, and support your social and emotional well being.
  • Please write in the gender with which you currently identify.
  • Please tell us how you describe your racial and ethnic identity.
  • One goal of the High School Soloists Program is to provide a pathway to exceptional music training for students who otherwise would not have the financial resources to participate in private vocal instruction. Please use this space to give the selection committee context for your family's financial circumstances.
  • Vocal Arts Program Involvement

If you are currently or have previously been involved in H+H's Vocal Arts Program, please indicate in which ensembles you have participated and for how many years. Please note that previous participation in the H+H Vocal Arts Program is not a prerequisite for acceptance into the High School Soloists Program.
  • School Music Program Involvement

H+H is a strong advocate for music education in schools. It is because of school music programs that the Vocal Arts Program (and the High School Soloists program) continue to grow. All students are urged to participate in their school's music program if one is offered.
