MOZART + HAYDN

JAN 25 + 27

Overview

Great Classical favorites shine with virtuosity, thanks to H+H’s trademark passion for making them sound brand new. In the latest installment of a multi-season cycle of all the Mozart violin concertos, Aisslinn Nosky performs the Violin Concerto No. 5, bringing out its sparkle and spice. The Orchestra’s acclaimed cycle of Haydn symphonies continues with Symphony No. 99, whose delightful humor and joy is on full display; hearing it performed on period instruments is the next-best-thing to being at the London premiere. The fabulous H+H Chorus adds luster to one of Haydn’s greatest Masses—the richly and colorfully scored Harmoniemesse.
