KISS AND TELL: A WORLD PREMIERE

JAN 29 + 30

Overview

Who do we choose to love?

Love has a way of finding us, changing us, and shaping where we feel we belong. Hear how two composers, separated by centuries, give voice to the risks, surprises, and possibilities of love. Drawing on myth and storytelling from around the world, composer Damien Geter and poet Tsitsi Jaji’s Kiss and Tell explores love and connection in a new work co-commissioned by H+H and Cleveland early music ensemble Les Délices for countertenor Reginald Mobley. Handel’s Vedendo amore offers another view of love’s unpredictability, capturing the power and helplessness of being struck by Cupid’s arrow when we least expect it. We invite you to step into a musical world shaped by longing, risk, and connection.
