MOZART JUPITER SYMPHONY

NOV 8 + 10

Overview

Hear H+H perform the joyous orchestral masterwork, Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. Named for the king of the gods, with trumpets and drums lending a fittingly regal air, Jupiter is celebrated as a crowning jewel among Classical symphonies. Conductor Bernard Labadie returns to lead the H+H Orchestra and Chorus in an ebullient performance that also features Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture. And our principal cellist Guy Fishman will solo in C.P.E. Bach’s dramatic Cello Concerto in A Major, performing on a rare cello made in Rome in 1704. H+H brings its hallmark style, restoring the freshness and dramatic pulse of this dynamic performance.
