After a sparkling Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel overture and Beethoven’s tantalizingly dramatic Piano Concerto No. 3, Luks continues his tour through the Beethoven symphonies: This time, it’s a rousing rendition of the composer’s effervescent Eighth.
