Overview

H+H’s fiery Aisslinn Nosky directs this delightful juxtaposition of two of the great Classical legends. Born the son of an enslaved person, Chevalier de Saint-Georges went on to become one of the first known classical composers of African descent. He was also the concertmaster of the orchestra that commissioned Haydn’s Paris symphonies. Both works will be H+H premieres, showcasing H+H’s virtuoso musicians. And, you won't want to miss two mini-documentaries which highlight the history of the composers. Celebrate this exciting close to our 2020-21 virtual season!
