H+H Pride '25

Here at H+H, we believe June isn’t the only Pride Month: We’re proud to be part of a vibrant, diverse community of Boston music lovers all year round. That’s why we’re hosting our second annual H+H Pride, on March 28 + 30, as the incomparable H+H Orchestra and Chorus performs Haydn + Beethoven, featuring Haydn's "Spring" from The Seasons and Beethoven's Mass in C Major.

H+H Pride '25

Friday, March 28 and Sunday, March 30, 2025
Symphony Hall

We've partnered with local, LGBTQ+-focused organizations to bring you a special celebration of the diversity that makes Boston great. Here's some of what you have to look forward to: teen artists from Artists for Humanity will lead a collaborative art activity and following both performances all concert guests are invited to join event partners for a celebratory reception featuring a community sing. The HHYC New Voices and Treble Chorus ensembles will perform prior to Sunday's concert.

About the Community Sing

To celebrate as one unified H+H community, we will raise our voices all together at receptions following each concert. A community sing is a powerful display of our shared humanity in which every voice is valued, no musical training or preparation is required, and the purpose is not perfection of performance but rather the power of the moment together.

H+H Youth Choruses Associate Conductor Andrew Milne and Vocal Specialist Hannah Klein will guide us in singing “Love is Love is Love is Love" by Abbe Betinis. This piece is dedicated to the victims, and survivors, of hate crimes everywhere, and specifically to those at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016.

Andrew and Hannah will teach the music so there's no need to prepare, but we can't help sharing this virtual performance recording made by our HHYC singers during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
