Project Beethoven

Piano Concerto No. 4

H+H is thrilled to collaborate with MassArt this season. Under the instruction of MassArt faculty members, students in the Illustration Department will create works of visual art inspired by Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4. We look forward to exploring it with you, examining its continued relevance, and seeing the new work that you create in response to it.

Your Project Beethoven artwork must measure 11” x 16” and be accompanied by an artist’s statement of no more than 100 words. Students will submit a digital image of their work to H+H and sign an artwork release form. All artwork will be posted on the H+H website. Students will price their work and have the opportunity to make it available for sale.

In the spring, a panel of MassArt faculty and H+H leadership will select up to 12 works to display at H+H concerts at Symphony Hall on May 2 + 4. We will celebrate you, the student artists, during a pre-concert reception on May 2.
