Rose Lewis
SOPRANO
Rose Lewis is a Boston based soprano, specializing in early and ensemble music. Ms. Lewis serves as a choral scholar with the Marsh Chapel Choir, where she features in their annual Bach Cantata series, as well as liturgical services. Most recently, she was a soloist in James Kallembach’s The Most Sacred Body presented for Good Friday. A regular member of the Handel and Haydn Society Chorus since 2017, Ms. Lewis has performed such works as Handel’s Messiah, Israel in Egypt, and the commercially recorded Haydn Theresienmesse. She was featured as both a soloist and narrator in the organization’s critically acclaimed 2023 concert Crossing The Deep. Ms. Lewis has performed with other area organizations including the Boston Landmarks Orchestra and Chorus Pro Musica. She joined the Neponset Choral Society as soloist for their 2019 performance of Poulenc’s Gloria. Originally hailing from Wethersfield, CT, she holds both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Boston University, where she was the recipient of the Ellalou Dimmock Vocal Honors Award.
