Aniela Eddy

VIOLIN

Swiss-American violinist, Aniela Eddy, appears regularly as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player throughout North America and Europe. Her broad and varied interest in music of all eras has led to projects spanning the baroque through contemporary time periods, on both modern and baroque violin. Recent and upcoming collaborations include engagements with Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Four Nations Ensemble, Philharmonie Austin, Seraphic Fire, Handel and Haydn Society, Apollo’s Fire, Trinity Baroque Orchestra, NOVUS, New York Classical Players, TENET, and Voices of Music. In addition to appearing live on NPR with A Prairie Home Companion and Garrison Keillor, Aniela has performed internationally at summer festivals including the Lucerne Festival, Ravinia, Caroga Lake Music Festival, Berkeley Early Music Festival, Carmel Bach Festival, and the Göttingen International Handel Festival. She is a founding member of Quartet Salonnières, which was recently awarded the Public Diplomacy Grant by the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania, as well as Relic Ensemble. A passionate educator, Aniela has taught at El Sistema programs throughout South and Central America and has given master classes at universities across the country. Aniela is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and The Juilliard School.
