Elisabeth Marshall has been praised by OPERA NEWS for her recording of James’ Kallembach’s Four Romantic Songs on the Brooklyn Art Song Society’s acclaimed 2015 studio release “New Voices” (Roven Records). Concert highlights include Messiah at Chicago Symphony Center, Bach’s Mattëuspassion under Helmuth Rilling (Oregon Bach Festival), Beethoven’s Choral Fantasia with CBE Raymond Leppard (Indianapolis Symphony), and Mozart’s Requiem at Rochester Cathedral, England. Opera roles include Frasquita (Carmen), Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute) in London, Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Elisetta (Il matrimonio segreto), and Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro). Ensembles include the Lorelei Ensemble, Wexford Festival Opera, London Philharmonia Chorus, Carmel Bach Festival, and Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. A Fulbright grant recipient to the HMT-Leipzig (Germany), Ms. Marshall holds advanced degrees from Indiana University, where her principal teacher was Carol Vaness, and currently serves as Artist Faculty in voice at the University of Southern Maine School of Music.
